Rhythms, Rituals & Practices





Morning Meditations 

Daily practice will support our inner space, calm, and self-awareness through sitting, walking, and contemplation in nature. These sessions invite presence and support open and aware communication, particularly during interpersonal tensions.










Embodiment & Movement Sessions 

With our Bodies as the main sites of learning, we will put a daily focus on embodiment and movement practices. We will explore our own bodies and emotions through movement and the experience of being in relationship with each other non-verbally. This includes experimenting with improvisatory movement, contact improv and safe and fun playfight




Relational Attunement Sessions 

We will explore different modalities like Internal Family Systems, Non-Violent Communication, Conscious Release and Deep Listening, that support us to relate to ourselves and each other with compassion.  The practices support us to communicate authentically, offer tools for collective decision-making and conflict resolution and to nurture a safe and brave environment. We will explore how to hold space for and co-regulate each other, cultivating the ability to stay present during difficult conversations rather than shutting down.










Co-Created Spaces

The afternoons and evenings will be open for community contributions, using Open Space Technology, in which everyone is invited to step into leadership, sharing offerings and explorations. It is a space where you can experiment with taking up new roles, for collective decision-making, playful inquiry, impromptus, imagination and creativity.


Pod Groups

To nourish peer support, reflection and integration throughout the residency, we will meet in small practice pods of three people for an hour every afternoon. The pods stay the same for the length of the residency as a place to build supportive relationships. They offer a daily moment to address challenges, make requests and support each other in a more intimate environment, accommodating whatever is present in the moment.



Community Care

We will dedicate daily rituals for community care, including cleaning and caring for the facility as well as preparing home cooked vegetarian meals for the group. Next to these voluntary obligations there will be plenty of opportuni ties to propose joyful spontaneous activities.










1:1 Support

 We are aware that a dense relational space can bring up emotional triggers and challenges that can seem overwhelming. The hosting team is here to support you with what might come up and can hold space individually for personal processing and guidance when needed.



Nature Connection

The retreat is surrounded by beautiful nature. We want to emphasise time in nature as an opportunity to connect to something bigger than ourselves, to take time to touch the intrinsic value and beauty of the natural world, and to deepen our recognition that we are part of this sacred web of life—grounding our actions in service of life and opening up a deep sense of purpose.


Artistic Research & Play

We want to encourage exploration through artistic means and practices as a core catalyst for our process. Engaging in artistic inquiry and expression, we disclose novel conditions for encounter and poetic ways of understanding. We get the chance to playfully break with habitual ways of operating in logical, linear problem-solving ways, revitalising our imagination and creativity as disruptive and liberating world-building capacities. Artistic practice opens up a multi-medial, embodied learning field beyond the rational mind, in which metaphor, image and ritual can express what we do not yet have words for.
